Apparently, Tyler and my mom though differently.
Meet Jenkies (like Thelma says on Scooby), a border collie rescued from "lead poisoning." She was given in a goat deal to Pawpaw Jerry Mac. Apparently, she was herding show lambs and bite one of them and scarred it so the guy gave her to Pawpaw to herd cows. Lo and behold, she won't heard cows, so she winds up at our house. She seems like a sweet dog. She's been really good with the kids so far and she's making the trip with us to the farm this weekend.
Our second addition to the family is a yet unnamed kitten. Wednesday, my mother was driving down the road and spotted two kittens sitting on the center stripe. A man stopped and rescued one of them and Mama pulled off and called the other one to her. The kitty ran towards her and then darted off. She attempted to locate said kitty but finally gave up and went on her way. Yesterday, she was putting up groceries and keeps hearing a cat meow from under her car. Her cats often go under there to hide, but upon doing a quick survey, she noticed they were all visible. She lifted the hood and there was the kitten!! Why do we get the kitten you ask? She has several stray tom cats that are mean to all of the other cats. She's afraid that this one is so small, it will get ran off, or eaten.
As for the rolly polly bug, he's still around... living in his home in our house. He likes to hide from you. And he might also be moving outdoors.... you know like back to where he came from!!!
