I ♥ Faces - Play

Who doesn't enjoy playing in the sand at the beach? Much more fun than getting your truck stuck in it!! I'd rather build sand castles thank you very much!

We took a trip to the beach this weekend when Tyler's dad came in from California... yes you heard me right. After the beaches in Cali, he still wanted to come to ours. Okay, okay, maybe it was to have something fun for the grandkids to do and nothing had nothing to do with our beautiful crystal clear water! At least you can get IN the water.... right?

P.S. I know it's been forever since I've posted anything... I've been a tad busy and this just happens to not always be at the top of the priority list! I'm doing good to edit photos, much less post them! I'll try to do better.... maybe :)

Updates

Ok so I've moved up in the world of technology and got a phone that has internet access. Now I can blog on the go.
Hey I have to use my $9.99 data plan somehow! Maybe this way I'll keep up more. Or maybe not. Only time will tell! I can't see me twittering or anything like that but sometimes funny stuff happens that I could post before I forget it! Ok enough rambling. :)

Bowling 101

Tyler promised the kids a surprise when he quit working nights. Since he's finally done, we took the kids bowling last night. Quite the opposite of the last time we went bowling and Jace threw himself down on the bowling lane and cried because he couldn't throw the ball like we did; they loved it!

Here Jace will demonstrate the proper way to bowl. And you might want to listen, he did win the second game! And he is talented enough to get a gutter ball with the bumpers up!

1. Pick out your ball. Not too big, not to small. But mostly, make sure it's a good color! Protect it. If you don't, someone else might take your ball when it's their turn.

2. Throw the ball down the lane in any fashion you want. Use both hands wrapped tightly around the ball. As shown below.

3. Pay no attention to the other bowlers and their "style." Just because they might look like they know what they are doing, the double arm method will work if you follow the additional steps below.

4. Mentally will the ball to hit the pins. You must lay on the floor for this, or at the very least sit and move back and forth depending on which side you need the ball to go to. Also, you must stay in the position until your ball hits the pins and they have stopped falling down.

5. CELEBRATE! No matter how you did celebrate. It builds your confidence for the next round! The crazier the dance, the better!

Now Mallori will demonstrate how to make everyone jump like the people on Wii bowling.
